David Birge

David Birge has extensive experience in the trucking industry, with a focus on operations. David currently holds the position of Director of Operations at NTB Trucking, Inc. since September 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Operations at J&R Schugel Trucking, Inc. from May 2018 to May 2020. David initially joined NTB Trucking, Inc. in 1992 as the Vice President of Operations, where they were responsible for managing the Operations Department and overseeing 230 drivers and 25 office staff. In this role, they had various responsibilities such as developing the strategic direction, increasing efficiency and speed, and managing multiple projects and programs. David's accomplishments include growing annual revenue by 50% between 2004 and 2012, increasing efficiency from 77% to 86%, expanding the customer base, and achieving a 99.5% on-time rate across 45,000 deliveries in 2017.

David Birge attended Western Michigan University - Haworth College of Business from 1986 to 1988. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Logistics and Marketing.
