Sparky Weilnau

Sparky Weilnau is a managing member of Weilnau Family Farms LLC, which specializes in the production of popcorn. Weilnau has also presided over George Weilnau Farm, LLC as president since 2010.

Weilnau was first elected to the Nationwide board in 2014.

He served the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation from 1997 to 2014 in a variety of roles, including trustee, treasurer and vice president.

Weilnau has served as Erie County commissioner, Milan Township trustee and chairman, and Erie Regional Planning Commission chairman. He is a member of the Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Association, Ohio Soybean Association, and Milan Chamber of Commerce.

Weilnau serves on the boards of the Milan Historical Museum and Sandusky/Erie County Community Foundation, and is a former council member of the District 5 Natural Resource Assistance Council for Clean Ohio.
