Josh Cress

Josh Cress is a designer currently working at NATIV3 and operates Butter District Design, focusing on user-centered design to enhance user experiences and interfaces. Past roles include a Webflow Designer & Developer at X31 Digital and a UX Designer and Project Manager at the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation, where Josh led improvements for electronic systems by balancing user and regulatory needs. With a background in environmental health and science, Josh has held positions in public health, laboratory testing during the COVID-19 response, and environmental compliance. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science and Natural Science with a concentration in Environmental Science from the University of Alaska Anchorage and a degree in UIUX Design from Bethel School of Technology.
