Nick Overmyer

Nick Overmyer has a diverse work experience that spans several roles and industries. Nick began their career as a Building Supervisor at the University of Toledo Office of Recreational Services, where they ensured proper staffing levels and enforced responsibilities and policies. Simultaneously, they worked as a Student Accounting Assistant at The University of Toledo, utilizing their strong teamwork and communication skills to ensure efficient and effective processes.

In 2018, Nick gained experience in the finance field through internships at Owens Corning. As a Composites Manufacturing Finance Intern, they prepared and published weekly pacing reports, providing upper management with high-level analysis of manufacturing efficiencies and volumes. In addition, they consolidated cost files for month-end close and updated the manufacturing scorecard. As an Operations Accounting Intern, Nick created a sustainable method for gathering live financial information and performed internal control management testing.

Currently, Nick is working at National Interstate Insurance Company. Nick started as an Accountant I and advanced to Staff Accountant II before assuming their current role as a Senior Accountant.

Throughout their various positions, Nick has demonstrated strong analytical and detail orientation skills, along with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nick Overmyer attended Mount St. Joseph University from 2016 to 2017, where they studied Accounting. Nick then transferred to The University of Toledo and pursued a degree in Accounting and Finance from 2017 to 2020.
