Patrick Giles

Patrick Giles is an experienced professional in Air Traffic Management and operations, currently serving as the Lead for Space Launch Higher Airspace Operations and the ATM Master Plan at NATS since April 2001. Giles has played a crucial role in shaping European-level strategies, including contributions to the European Air Traffic Management Master Plan and facilitating connections between NATS and key European agencies such as INEA and SESAR. Additionally, Giles has held various positions within NATS, including European Deployment Manager, Manager Policy & Legislation, and Manager International Affairs, focusing on international relations with organizations like ICAO and Eurocontrol. As a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, Giles has been actively involved in the "Writing On The Edge" group since October 2013, and previously acted as an Airspace Regulator during a secondment to the UK Civil Aviation Authority. Educational qualifications include an LLB in Law from the University of Bristol and a Diploma in Management from Robert Gordon University.
