Bansari Joshi is a Yarn Development Engineer at Natural Fiber Welding since 2021. Prior to this, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University in 2020. In 2020, they also worked as a Project Fellow for Load Balance Six Sigma Project at Caterpillar Inc. where they did data modeling of the outbound transportation process, data mapping with four different scenarios of product family to distribution, and deep learning from 3 years worth data about the entire logistic process. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Welspun Group as a Textile Engineer in the Production Planning Department, where they planned and executed orders from raw material to end product, and worked on several projects. Bansari also worked as a GET, where they worked in several projects to enhance knowledge about plant and product family, worked in the weaving department to reduce the rework of pull terry, and served as an SAP project support from the production planning department. In 2016, they were the Placement Coordinator at L.D. College of Engineering. In 2017, they worked as a Research Project at Institute of Plasma Research (IPR) to improve the hydrophilic functionalities of woven textile by atmospheric pressure air plasma, where they scrutinized the textile woven fabric and enhanced the quality, helped the environment to save nature by using fewer chemicals at an industrial scale, modernized the industrial process by replacing them with atmospheric pressure air plasma, and performed contact angle measurement, wicking tests, scanning electron microscope (SEM), and the Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR) - characterization tests. In 2016, they were a Trainee at Raymond Limited, where they learned about the textile designing and textile manufacturing process for suiting material, which involves basic spinning, weaving, and processing of the materials, as well as shirting and suiting fabric manufacturing process and high-quality inspection and parameter measurement to maintain continuous quality.
Bansari Joshi has a diverse educational background. Bansari obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Textile Technology from L.D. College of Engineering from 2013 to 2017. Bansari then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Welingkar Institute of Management from 2017 to 2019. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Textile Sciences and Engineering from North Carolina State University from 2019 to 2021. In addition, they have obtained various certifications from LinkedIn and North Carolina State University, including Master the Fundamentals of AI and Machine Learning, Python Essential Training, Illustrator 2020 Essential Training, Photoshop 2020 Essential Training: Design, Photoshop 2020 Essential Training: The Basics, Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Machine Learning, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, SAP ERP Essential Training, and Technical Writing: Reports.
