Joshua Abell

Joshua Abell has a diverse work experience. Joshua began their career in 2009 as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Harvard University. From 2011 to 2020, they worked at Bridgestone Americas in various roles, including Strategic Pricing, Franchise Development Manager, and Senior Scientist. In 2013, they also took on a Graduate Student role at The University of Akron. In 2020, they joined Ascend Performance Materials as a Technology Team Leader - Specialty Chemicals and Senior Process and Product Development Chemist. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Director of Product Development Mirum at Natural Fiber Welding.

Joshua Abell obtained their B.S. in Chemistry from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2004. Joshua then went on to pursue their PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of Chicago, which they completed in 2009. In 2013, they earned their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Analytics from The University of Akron, which they completed in 2015.
