Melanie Katherine

Melanie Katherine has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Melanie recently worked as a Product Engineer at NFW starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they were a Materials Engineer at ILC Dover from June 2021 to November 2022, where they focused on space, inflatables, and new product development. Melanie also served as a Teaching Assistant at North Carolina State University from August 2018 to April 2020. Melanie gained experience as a Textile Technologist Student Trainee at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission from June 2019 to August 2019. In addition, Melanie worked in management at Gymboree from January 2017 to November 2017 and as an ESL Instructor specializing in fashion at Incheon English Village from July 2014 to August 2015. Earlier in their career, they held positions at American Eagle Outfitters as a Lead from June 2012 to July 2014 and at alice + olivia in production from August 2012 to December 2012.

Melanie Katherine began their education in 2008 at Auburn University, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Apparel and Textiles in 2012. During their time at Auburn University, they also pursued a Minor in International/Global Studies, which they successfully completed in the same year. After gaining their undergraduate degree, Melanie pursued further education at North Carolina State University from 2018 to 2020.
