Ted Hardesty has worked in the engineering field since 2013. Ted began their career as an Engineering Intern at Advanced Technology Services (ATS). During their time there, they performed machinery overhauls, preventative maintenance, and diagnostic troubleshooting on industrial equipment. Ted also designed and produced custom lock out/tag out trainers and a mobile tooling kit for traveling technicians.
In 2016, Hardesty began working at Natural Fiber Welding as an Engineering Manager and Mechanical Engineer. At the same time, they also became Technology Officer at River City Labs NFP. In this role, they trained members on 3D modeling, CNC machining, 3D printing, and laser cutting. Ted also weighed in on the organization's equipment and tooling decisions.
Ted Hardesty attended Bradley University from 2016 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology. Ted also attended Illinois Central College from 2014 to 2015, where they earned an Associate's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering.
