Anita Flowers serves as the Senior Organisational Development Advisor at the Natural Hazards Commission Toka Tū Ake since June 2022. Previously, Anita held various roles at MAS - Medical Assurance Society, including D,E&I, Wellbeing and Engagement Lead and Senior Learning and Development Adviser from January 2020 to July 2022. At the Bank of New Zealand, Anita worked from July 2012 to January 2020 in multiple capacities, including Learning Delivery Lead and Learning Transfer Consultant. Early experience includes positions at Dick Smith Electronics as Store Manager and Administrative Assistant. Anita holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Psychology from Massey University and has pursued further education in Tikanga and Te Reo at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, along with a Certificate in Adult Education and Tertiary Training from the Southern Institute of Technology. Educational background also includes attendance at Victoria University of Wellington and secondary education at Upper Hutt College and Tauraroa Area School.
