James Williams-Blakey

James Williams-Blakey is an experienced Enterprise Architect currently at Toka Tū Ake EQC since July 2023. Previously, James held the position of Senior Consulting Architect at Cyma Limited, focusing on modernising technology in a university setting. As a founder of Ziger New Zealand, James aimed to simplify technology for users. James also contributed significantly as Enterprise Technology Architect at Airways New Zealand by implementing management tools, and frameworks, and leading cross-organizational initiatives. Earlier roles include Digital Lead Architect at Christchurch City Council, where James led digital transformation projects, and Internet Banking Solution Architect at HSBC, providing strategic direction across multiple banking units. James's career began in the Royal Air Force as an Aerospace Systems Operator, followed by various IT roles, which solidified a strong foundation in technology and leadership, supported by a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Sheffield Hallam University.
