Doug Gurr is the Museum Director at Natural Theirtory Museum. Doug was previously with Imperial War Museums as a Customer Experience Host from August 2018 to December 2018. Prior to that, they were with Debenhams from October 2016 to June 2018 as a Food Services Advisor.

From July 2016 to September 2016, they were with YELVERTON PROPERTIES (HOLDINGS) LIMITED as a Digitisation Project Manager and was responsible for designing and executing a new digital filing system accessible to employees with varying degrees of technological literacy.

Doug Gurr has also been a GCSE English Language Tutor with QUEENS' SCHOOL (BUSHEY) from September 2014 to June 2015. Doug was also a Team Leader - Food Services Advisor with Centreplate UK from October 2012 to April 2017.

Doug Gurr began their educational career by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Exeter. Doug then went on to earn a Master of Arts in Early Modern Studies from UCL. Finally, they obtained a certification from UCL in Archival Objects Manual Handling: Manuscripts and Incunabula.
