Currently serving as Deputy Director at Natural Resources Canada since August 2023, Silburt manages a team to implement the Canadian Minerals and Metals Plan, achieving significant milestones such as enhancing the national orphaned mines inventory and launching innovative workforce initiatives. Previously, as a Policy Advisor at Indigenous Services Canada, Silburt led transformative efforts to improve governmental funding for Indigenous infrastructure.
