Casey Roberts

Casey Roberts currently serves as the Director of RTO Advocacy at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) since October 2024, following a distinguished tenure at the Sierra Club from October 2011 to October 2024 as both Senior Attorney and Staff Attorney, focusing on energy policy and litigation within the Beyond Coal Campaign. Previous experience includes serving as a Natural Resources Defense Council Fellow at Altshuler Berzon from September 2009 to October 2011, law clerk roles for Hon. Diana E. Murphy at the United States Court of Appeals and Hon. James A. Parker at the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico, and as a Research Analyst at Industrial Economics. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Boalt Hall School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Public Policy Studies from Rice University.
