Sarah Medeiros

Sarah Medeiros has a diverse range of work experience. Sarah began their career as a Writers' Production Assistant and later became a Writers' Assistant at Nickelodeon in 2012. Sarah then worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at American University from 2015 to 2016. Sarah also gained experience as a Communications Intern at the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation in 2016.

In 2017, Sarah worked as a Freelance Editor at Clutch.co, and from 2018 to 2019, they served as an Assistant for Communications and External Affairs at the National Women's Law Center. In 2019, they worked as a PoliTemps Associate & Freelance Consultant at PoliTemps, Inc., providing organizational services and consulting work.

Sarah's experience continued with roles at the American Library Association as a Public Policy/Communications Associate in 2019, and at People For the American Way as a Digital Campaigns Associate from 2020 to 2022. In these positions, they managed websites and social media, drafted and executed emails and advocacy materials, conducted research, and organized digital campaigns and events.

Currently, Sarah Medeiros is working at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) as the Eastern Digital Campaigns Manager. In this role, they collaborate with regional teams to develop and execute campaigns that engage audiences, support local policy objectives, and advance national advocacy goals. Sarah plans and executes digital advocacy and engagement campaigns, utilizing various tools and tactics to recruit and mobilize audiences in priority states.

Sarah Medeiros completed their education in a chronological manner. Sarah first attended Milton Academy from 2004 to 2007 and received a High School Diploma. Sarah then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree at Franklin & Marshall College from 2007 to 2011, with a concentration in English (Writing) and Theater. During their undergraduate years, in 2010, Sarah participated in a program called Advanced Studies in England, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this program. Subsequently, they went on to pursue a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Media at American University from 2015 to 2017.
