Human Resources Operations Coordinator at Natural Resources Defense Council

Shada Crosby has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Shada started their career at The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars as a Summer Intern in 2018. Shada then joined TGI Fridays as a Waitress from 2015 to 2019. In 2017, they transitioned to the banking industry and worked at Wells Fargo as a Bank Teller from 2017 to 2019, and later as a Personal Banker from 2019 to 2021. Shada then moved into the field of Human Resources, working at Global Teletherapy as a Human Resources Assistant from 2021 to 2022, where they focused on HRIS maintenance and employee support. Shada also served as a People Coordinator at Global Teletherapy from 2022 to 2022, contributing to onboarding, recruiting, and general employee support. Currently, they are employed at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) as a Human Resources Operations Coordinator, responsible for maintaining data integrity, process effectiveness, compliance, and ensuring a positive employee experience.

Shada Crosby's education history starts with their enrollment at the Community College of Baltimore County from 2012 to 2016. During this time, they pursued a degree in General Studies and successfully obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree.

Following their completion at the community college, Shada went on to attend the University of Baltimore from 2016 to 2019. There, they focused on Business Administration and human resources, and ultimately earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.

In addition to their academic achievements, Shada obtained various certifications. In September 2019, they became a Notary Public in the state of Maryland. Then, in January 2023, they achieved the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management).
