Antonio M. Rinaldi is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as an Associate Professor and Academic Senator at the University of Naples Federico II, where responsibilities include membership on various committees and boards related to computational and quantitative biology. Rinaldi has extensive research interests in semantic information retrieval, knowledge representation, and natural language processing, alongside teaching expertise in computer science and database systems. In 2023, Rinaldi assumed the role of Head of the Intelligent Knowledge Systems Research Unit. Additionally, contributions extend to various national and international collaborations, including positions as Local Coordinator for the Digital Health National Laboratory, Associate Researcher at the Institute of Experimental Endocrinology and Oncology, and member of the European Open Science Cloud Association's Task Force on Semantic Interoperability.
