Lucy Smyth

Conservation Scientist at NATURAL STATE

Lucy Smyth is a Conservation Scientist and Project Officer at NATURAL STATE since August 2023. Prior to this, Lucy worked as a Field Biologist at Nelson Mandela University from March 2022 to May 2023. Lucy completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Conservation Biology at University of Cape Town in December 2021. Lucy also worked as a Field Technician at PANTHERA, running camera trap surveys in both Saudi Arabia and Kruger National Park. Lucy has experience as a Demonstrator and Tutor for biology and statistics courses at University of Cape Town.
