Cheryl Nicholson

Cheryl Nicholson is an experienced conservation and operations professional, currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer and Director at the Nature Friendly Farming Network since March 2018. Previously, Cheryl held significant roles at the RSPB from January 2015 to March 2018, where responsibilities included UK Project Manager and Area Conservation Manager, focusing on partnership management and landscape-scale conservation. Prior to that, Cheryl worked at the Marine Management Organisation as a Marine Planner and Marine Licensing Manager, overseeing biodiversity objectives and managing marine development consents. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Marine Conservation Officer and Regional Project Manager at The Wildlife Trusts. Cheryl holds a Master of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Hull and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
