Sarah Chordekar

Sarah Chordekar has extensive experience in bioinformatics and education, currently serving as the Head of Bioinformatics at NatureMetrics since March 2019, after progressing through roles as Lead Bioinformatician, Bioinformatician, and Junior Bioinformatician. Prior to this, significant contributions were made at the University of Bath from October 2014 to December 2018, including positions as Graduate Teaching Assistant, Marker, Invigilator, Outreach Ambassador, Administrator, Resident Tutor, and Project Assistant within various departments. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biology/Biological Sciences and an MSc in Biosciences from the University of Bath, along with earlier degrees in Life Science & Biochemistry and Forensic Science from St. Xavier's College. Additional training includes coursework in Programming for Evolutionary Biology at Leipzig University and participation in the International Bioscience Summer School at the University of Bath.
