David Roos

David Roos has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the food industry. David started their career at Royal Beech Nut, where they held operations and R&D roles, managing the development and launch of multiple products. David then joined PepsiCo, working as a New Product Development Manager, Quality & Food Safety Manager, and Supplier Quality Assurance Manager. At PepsiCo, they played a key role in launching new products and improving product quality and safety. Roos later joined Aldi UK as a Quality Assurance Director, where they defined and implemented the technical strategy for the company and established core governance processes. Most recently, they worked at Boparan Private Office as the Group Compliance, Quality and Safety Director, where they built and implemented a leading HSE and Sustainability strategy for the company. Roos is currently the Quality Director at Natures Way Foods.

David Roos earned a Certificate in Sustainability Studies from the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership in 2023. Prior to that, they obtained an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from De Montfort University from 1998 to 2001. In 1989 to 1992, they completed their HND in Food Technology at the University of Johannesburg, specializing in Food Technology and Processing.
