George Fay has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. George started their career as a Plant Engineer at Hercules, where they worked in various locations, designing and installing computer process control systems and electrical power systems. George then became the Engineering supervisor of maintenance, engineering, and power house departments in Massachusetts.
In 1995, George joined Albemarle Corporation as a Team Leader, working on the implementation and support of SAP globally. George started in the MM team for five years before joining the SD team. In the last three years of their role, they became the global SD team leader and also took on the position of global QM team leader, as well as an SAP team supervisor.
After their tenure at Albemarle Corporation, George worked as a Consultant at CARBO Ceramics Inc. in 2008. George then joined IDS Scheer in 2007 as a Senior Consultant, providing SD consulting services to several companies during their SAP implementations or improvement projects. George also took on minor project management roles on two projects.
Their most recent role was at Schwabe North America, where they worked as a Senior Business Analyst. George was part of a small SAP Business Analyst group and was involved in an acquisition with Nature's Way. George retired from the company but continued to work part-time a few hours a week.
George Fay attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1970 to 1975. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree with a field of study in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
