Hossein Farahanchi

Hossein Farahanchi has extensive work experience in data analysis and data science. Since 2019, they have been working as a Data Scientist at Vytelle. From 2012 to 2019, they worked as a Data Analyst at Alberta Health Services, where they developed, maintained, manipulated, and supported Oracle and SQL databases, extracted and merged datasets from multiple sources, and ensured and maintained data quality and reliability, integrity, and consistency. From 2000 to 2006, Hossein was a Senior Data Analyst at the Social Insurance Organization, Health Management, where they transformed large amounts of raw clinical records data from a variety of hospitals into health management databases for management access on a monthly basis, supported the maintenance of high quality data, and performed data queries and prepared reports on a monthly and quarterly basis. From 2006 to 2012, Hossein was a Research Associate at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), where they ensured validity of studies by establishing and maintaining sound clinical and data collection practices, and ensured compliance with established protocols, appropriate research methodology, and studied timelines by monitoring the conduct and progress of the study.

Hossein Farahanchi has a diverse educational background. Hossein obtained a Certificate in French Language and Literature from Université du Québec à Montréal in 2012. Hossein also holds a Master's degree in Biostatistics from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, which they obtained in 2006. Their first degree is a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, which they earned from Shahid Beheshti University in 2004.
