Jim Kilroy has extensive work experience in the field of finance and accounting. Jim started their career as an Accounting Analyst at Farmland Industries in 1994 and worked there until 2003. After that, they served as a Corporate Accounting Manager at Henry Wurst, Inc., where they implemented process improvements using SAP and streamlined the corporate accounting process.
In 2005, Jim joined Conagra Foods, initially as a Lead Business Analyst and later as a Finance Manager specializing in Business Systems Integration. In this role, they managed a team focusing on reconciliation between SAP ERP and third-party locations, as well as inventory efforts for process improvement in transportation and warehousing.
Following that, Jim worked as a Financial Analyst at Baldwin Filters, where they generated daily reports, built BI reports, and assisted with Hyperion and Oracle implementations. Jim then joined Becton Dickinson as a Senior Financial Analyst, contributing to financial analysis and reporting.
Jim's next role was a Cost Accountant at Elliott Equipment Company, where they were responsible for cost accounting and reporting. Jim then moved on to Warren Distribution, Inc. Affiliated Companies, continuing their work as a Cost Accountant, planning and collecting data to determine costs of business activity and implementing cost-effective data collection systems.
In 2019, Jim transitioned to Valmont Industries, Inc. as an ERP Business Systems Analyst. In this role, they applied ERP technology to reengineer fundamental business processes and supported ERP implementation and major business subsystems within the organization.
Most recently, Jim joined PayPal as an Operational Systems Analyst in 2020, managing and supporting activities for the Finance organization. Jim demonstrated their ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels of the company and worked cross-functionally to drive time-sensitive deliverables, issue tracking, and reporting.
Currently, Jim is working at NatureWorks as a Senior Cost/Fixed Asset Accountant. In this role, they are responsible for studying, collecting, and reporting data to determine actual costs of business activity and analyzing data to construct and monitor supply chain costs. Jim is also involved in the implementation of processes for S/4 Hana upgrade.
