Melanie Marquez

Melanie Marquez, M.S., serves as the R&D Manager at The Garmon Corporation's NaturVet brand, where responsibilities include overseeing product development and pricing for animal supplements, as well as coordinating raw material and finished product testing for regulatory compliance. Prior experience includes leadership roles as Lead Senior Formulation Scientist at NaturVet, where two new product lines were developed, and as a Feed Agricultural Specialist with the State of Minnesota, conducting compliance inspections for retail and pet food. Additional roles span quality control and food safety across various companies, alongside research contributions at the University of Minnesota and San Diego State University, where Melanie earned a Master’s Degree in Food Science and a Bachelor of Science in Foods and Nutrition, alongside an Honors Minor in Interdisciplinary Studies.
