Richard Lawrence

Richard Lawrence is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting policy and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as the Head of Accounting Regulatory & Valuations Policy at NatWest Group and as a Senior Advisor to the Regulatory Codes and Standards Committee at the Financial Reporting Council, Richard has also previously held significant positions at RBS, including Head of Accounting Policy and Finance Business Lead for IFRS 9 implementation. Other noteworthy roles include Executive Director of Finance at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where major clients included Lloyds TSB and the Bank of England. Richard holds a degree in Economics from the University of Exeter, obtained from 1991 to 1994.
