Erick Pangilinan is a seasoned professional in the video game industry with extensive experience at Naughty Dog since February 1997, currently holding the position of Co-Head of Art and previously serving as Art Director and Lead Environment Artist. In the role of Art Director, Pangilinan was responsible for establishing the aesthetic vision of games in collaboration with the Creative Director and various stakeholders, while influencing multiple departments including Lighting, Character, and VFX. As Lead Environment Artist, Pangilinan managed schedules and tasks for environment artists and undertook resource management tasks. Initially, as a Senior Environment Artist, responsibilities included creating 3D environments and props while ensuring adherence to the high standards of Naughty Dog's aesthetic. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Artist at Sega of America from January 1996 to February 1997. Educational qualifications include a BA in Graphic Design and Computer Science from California State University, Northridge, and a brief period of study at the University of the Philippines in 1988.
