Maartje Govaert

Maartje Govaert is a seasoned legal professional specializing in employment, labor, and pension law. Currently serving as the Head of the Employment team at NautaDutilh since July 2022, Maartje possesses extensive experience in advising on international employment matters, corporate governance, and remuneration issues, with a notable emphasis on cross-border acquisitions and ESG considerations. Prior to NautaDutilh, Maartje was a Partner at Norton Rose Fulbright, overseeing the global employment and labor group, and held various positions at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, including Partner and Head of Employment & Labour for Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Maartje's legal career also includes noteworthy secondments to Nutreco, London, and New York offices, along with a strong educational background in law from institutions such as Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and University of Amsterdam.
