Filip MacEk

Filip Macek is a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer at IP Fabric since April 2023, where work focuses on enhancing scalability for large private networks through data storage redesign and network service distribution. As a Core Maintainer at Nautech Systems since August 2023, Filip has made significant contributions to the Nautilus Trader project, facilitating the migration of a Python/Cython codebase to Rust and developing critical components for algorithmic trading. Prior experience includes a role as Software Engineer and Quant Developer at Flowix, where Filip developed a financial analytics platform and various trading systems, and a Backend Developer position at Q Agency, focusing on a file management system. Earlier experience includes market analysis at Erste Bank and software engineering at Croatia Osiguranje. Filip holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Zagreb and has completed an Erasmus program at the University of Vienna.
