Jessica Apelowicz

Jessica Apelowicz has held various roles in the recruitment and talent acquisition space since 2015. Jessica began their career as a Technical Recruiter and Account Manager at Jobspring Partners in 2015, where they built their own client list and specialized in placing Front-End and Mobile Developers. In 2016, they joined Index Exchange as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, where they developed and executed sourcing strategies to attract and recruit both active and passive candidates. Jessica then joined Kira Systems in 2019 as a Technical Recruiter, where they owned the end-to-end recruitment process for all Technical and Research roles. That same year, they also joined OneLocal as a Talent Acquisition Manager and Talent Acquisition Specialist, where they built out the recruitment processes that scaled the company to 90 employees. In 2020, they joined Nathan James as a Lead Recruiter, where they lead the global & remote recruitment strategy and process for all roles across Nathan James. Most recently, they joined Fast in 2021 as a Lead Technical Recruiter and Senior Technical Recruiter. In 2022, they will join Nautical Commerce as a Talent Acquisition Manager and The Agency RE as a Technical Recruiting Manager.

Jessica Apelowicz has a diverse educational background. From 2011 to 2015, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Organizational Leadership from Western University. Jessica then completed a Certificate in Writing from the same institution in 2015. In 2015-2016, they obtained a Certificate from Parsons School of Design - The New School in Teen Vogue: Fashion Industry Essentials. Lastly, they have a Certificate from Udemy Academy in Employer Branding for Talent Acquisition.
