Chris Phelps

Chris Phelps has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Their most recent position was as the Director of Product Design & Development at Nautique Boat Company. Prior to this, they worked as the Assembly Manager at the same company. Before joining Nautique, Chris held the role of Director of Operations at EdgeWater Power Boats, where they managed a wide array of departments and projects. Chris also has experience in the education sector, serving as an Adjunct Faculty at USSOCOM and teaching Design Thinking to special operations forces. Chris had also served in the United States Marine Corps in different positions, including Assistant Chief of Staff for Intelligence at the United States Marine Corps Forces Central Command. Overall, their career showcases a strong leadership and management background across various industries.

Chris Phelps attended the Virginia Military Institute from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mathematics. After that, they pursued further education at Boston University from 1994 to 2000, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Information Systems. In 2022, they enrolled at Rollins College to pursue a Crummer Certification in Business Management, Mini-MBA.
