Gerry Umbach

Gerry Umbach is an experienced professional with a diverse background in risk analysis, systems administration, and military communications. Currently serving as a Senior Risk Analyst for NAV CANADA since August 2017, Gerry has played a key role in managing national client services and core enterprise systems. With a longstanding career in the Canadian Armed Forces, beginning in June 1992, Gerry has held multiple leadership positions, including RCCS Deputy Corps Sergeant Major and Squadron Sergeant Major, providing technical advisory on communications capabilities across various regions. Prior experience includes roles at Ciena as a System Analyst, managing global infrastructure, and at Thales as a Senior Integration Specialist, overseeing a team of technical specialists. Gerry's educational background includes attending Earl of March Secondary School from 1989 to 1994.
