Erin Papworth has a diverse work experience. Erin began their career in 2005 as a U.S. Senate Intern for the United States Senate Committee Health, Education, Labor and Pensions. In 2012, they joined the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health as a Senior Technical Advisor and Senior Regional Research Coordinator for the Key Populations Program. In 2015, they founded Avery Franklin Consulting, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in epidemiological field research, behavior change assessments, and policy analysis. In 2016, they became the CEO of Nav.it, a company focused on changing the narrative around money and reducing fear.
Erin Papworth earned a Masters in Public Health from Tulane University between 2008 and 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Writing from Loyola Marymount University. Erin also attended The American University of Paris and University of Oxford. In addition, Erin holds certifications in Health Economics from The World Bank (obtained in December 2013) and Human Research Ethics from CITI (obtained in August 2012).
