Erin Phinney is currently an Associate Director of Growth at Nava, but they have extensive experience in the events and experiential marketing industry. Erin previously worked as a Senior Manager of Events & Experiential Marketing at ProfitWell from July 2018 to April 2021. There, they strove to create successful, impactful, and memorable events and experiences for a range of third party clients. Prior to that, Erin was an Events Account Manager at Corinthian Events from August 2016 to July 2018, where they worked creatively and strategically to create event designs that were cohesive, impactful, on brand for clients, and unforgettable to guests. Erin has also mentored and managed program assistants and interns.
Before their career in event marketing, Erin was an Events Specialist at Boston University from April 2014 to August 2016. There, they developed, wrote, and produced client proposals including detailed budgets, event design and production plans. Erin also managed client directives, goals, and overall expectations to drive the event planning process. In addition, they negotiated contracts with clients, venues, and vendors and meticulously managed budgets from event conception to completion.
Erin Phinney has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst. Erin majored in marketing and hospitality and tourism management.
