Charla Bason

Charla Copp Bason, CMP, is a seasoned events manager with extensive experience in program operations and meeting planning. Currently serving as Events Manager at Nava since August 2023, Charla previously held significant roles at the Association of Corporate Counsel, including Director of Program Operations, where responsibilities included establishing event goals, advising on schedules, and ensuring alignment with organizational needs. Prior roles encompassed Associate Director of Program Operations and Education & Meetings Manager, focusing on event timelines, contract negotiation, budget management, and marketing strategies. Early career experience includes positions at the American Society of Engineering Education as Meeting Planner and the American Educational Research Association as Assistant Meeting Planner. Charla holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Parks & Tourism from the University of Florida.
