Injoon Song

Injoon Song has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Injoon began their career as a Field Service Engineer at Compaq in 2001, where they managed IT infrastructure and handled procurement and escalations. From 2002 to 2007, they worked as a Customer Support Engineer at Avaya, supporting critical customer issues and delivering customized maintenance services.

In 2007, Song joined Cisco and held various roles over a nine-year period. As a Solutions Engineer, they championed collaboration solutions in Korea and led major sales initiatives. Injoon then became a Senior Technical Lead, managing partners' enablement strategy and organizing enablement courses and events. Later, as a Senior Sales Engineer, they conducted presales for conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies. Finally, they served as a Senior Product Manager, leading product strategy and developing market offerings for fast market adoption.

From 2016 to 2021, Song worked at Aryaka Networks. Initially, they were a Solutions Architect, evangelizing business transformation with cloud networking SaaS and consulting as a subject matter expert. Injoon then became a Regional Sales Director for the APJ region, managing and coaching the regional team to achieve fast growth in the cloud networking and SaaS market.

Most recently, in 2021, Song joined Microsoft as a Senior Account Delivery Lead. In this role, they managed customer relationships, orchestrated service delivery for cloud and modern apps, and executed business rhythms for steering committees and service reviews.

Injoon Song's work experience culminates in their current role as a Regional Sales Director at NAVER Cloud, starting in 2023.

Injoon Song obtained a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies from 1995 to 2001. Prior to that, they graduated from Daeil Foreign Language High School with a focus on Spanish from 1992 to 1995. Injoon also holds several certifications, including Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Scrum: The Basics, ACP - 110, ACP - 100, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate.
