Jimmi Hartvig

Jimmi Hartvig is an experienced professional with extensive work experience in various industries. Jimmi started their career in 1993 as a Store Manager and Office Operations Manager in the retail industry. Jimmi then worked as a Sergeant Aeronautical/Radar Engineer in Forsvaret, where they maintained and ensured the security of internal IT systems and infrastructure. From 2008 to 2010, Jimmi worked as an Assistant Engineer/Technical Consultant at the Technical University of Denmark, specializing in IT system testing and software installation for deep space missions. Jimmi then joined DR - Danmarks Radio as a Broadcast & IT Engineer/Project Consultant, where they contributed to the development and execution of project lifecycles and the implementation of Life Cycle Management plans.

Jimmi's career in the aviation industry began in 2011 when they joined Copenhagen Airports A/S. Jimmi held various roles within the company, including Head of Airport Technology, Director - Head of IT Projects & Development, Director - Air Traffic, Architects & Development, and Head Of Division, Safety, Architecture & AM /Head of Air Traffic Management & Program Manager. In these roles, they demonstrated leadership in strategic planning, operations management, introduction of innovative technologies, and efficient integration of IT projects.

In 2023, Jimmi joined Naviair as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this pivotal role, they are responsible for leading the technological vision and innovation in the field of airspace management. Their duties include developing and implementing a strategic technology plan, integrating ESG initiatives, and utilizing cutting-edge technologies to enhance flight safety, efficient LCM, and airspace management. Jimmi collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to drive digital transformation and address dynamic challenges in the aviation industry.

Jimmi Hartvig's education history is as follows:

- From 1990 to 1993, they attended Hillerød Handelskole and obtained a degree in Business School, specializing in the Higher Commercial Examination Programme.

- From 1993 to 1994, they attended Randers Handelskole/Jysk and obtained a certification in Retail sales management.

- In 1998, they studied at Gladsaxe Higher Preparatory Examination, specifically at the Royal Airforce Officer Candidate School, and earned a Higher Preparatory Examination degree.

- From 1999 to 2000, they attended the Royal Danish Airforce Officer Candidate School and obtained the rank of Sergeant/Officer Academy, specializing in Technical Officer training.

- From 2001 to 2004, they studied at the Royal Airforce School of Electronics and received a degree as an Examined Electronic Special Engineer in Avionics & Radar Engineering.

- In 2014, they completed the ATSEP Qualification Training at The Czech Air Navigation Institute, obtaining a certification in Air traffic safety electronics personnel.

- In 2015, they obtained an additional certification in Asset Management from Reliasset.

- From 2014 to 2015, they attended Københavns Lufthavne/Intern Ledelsesuddannelse and completed a General Leadership course.

- In 2015, they also attended Copenhagen Business School and earned a degree in Commercial Excellence.

- From 2018 to 2022, they studied at DTU - Technical University of Denmark and obtained a Diplom degree in Leadership.

- In 2023, they briefly attended the University of Cambridge and completed a degree in Business Sustainability Management.
