Amanda Misner has worked in various roles since 2005. Amanda began their career as a Physical Education Teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District, where they instructed class sizes ranging from 30-75 students and coached 6-8th grade girls basketball from 2005-2006. In 2007, they became a Physical Education Teacher Grade 6-10 for Guajome Park Academy, where they prepared and implemented lessons and units of instruction to students grades 6-10 according to the IBMYP criteria for Physical Education. Amanda also served as the site coordinator for the California State Fitness Test, supervising and implementing the administration of the CA state Fitness Test to 7th and 9th graders, and reported all results to the CA Fitness Test Data Reporting website and to the parents of all of the students. In 2012, they began working as an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer and Team Beachbody Coach for Amanda Misner's In-Home Fitness and Team Beachbody, providing in-home personal training on MCBH to military personnel and their family members. In 2014, they became a Physical Education Teacher for Jeffereson Middle School. In 2020, they took on the role of Owner/Director for Meadowlark In Home Daycare. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Senior Account Executive for Navigate360 and a CCEIS Coordinator for BULLOCH COUNTY BOARD EDUCATION.
Amanda Misner has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Kinesiology with a certification in Physical Education K-12 from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they attended from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they attended Parkland Community College, Champaign IL from 2002 to 2004, studying Kinesiology. Before that, they attended William Woods University from 2000 to 2002, studying Education.
