Technical Support Representative II at Navigate360

Gavin Grooms Jr. began their career in 2019 as a Fulfillment Specialist at Target, working to fulfill online orders and meeting an increasing demand at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Also in 2019, they began working as a Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University, helping students master complex music theory concepts through one-on-one and small group tutoring, as well as grading assignments and tests and documenting results into the university grading system. In 2021, they joined Navigate360 as a Technical Support Representative I, utilizing the Salesforce ticketing system to manage and track customer inquiries through to completion, documenting customer complaints and inquiries for use in technical documentation and bug escalation to the development team, and personally resolving a record-breaking backlog of support tickets following a major client’s system malfunction. Gavin was later promoted to Technical Support Representative II, continuing to utilize the Salesforce ticketing system, document customer complaints and inquiries, and handle escalated tickets from the Tier I Tech Support representatives.

Gavin Grooms Jr. attended Brigham Young University from 2017 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Music in Brass Instrumental Performance. Gavin then continued their education at Tufts University, where they earned a Master of Science in Computer Science in 2024. In July 2021, they also obtained a Google IT Support Specialization certification from Coursera.
