Joseph Hendry, PSP, CLEE has over thirty years of experience in the security and public safety field. Joseph began their career in 1985 as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. In 1989, they became a Police Lieutenant at Kent State University. In 2009, they joined Ohio Homeland Security as an Intelligence Liaison Officer, where they were responsible for collecting, reporting, retrieving, and sharing materials related to terrorism. In 2011, they became Senior Director of On-Site Services at Navigate360 and a National Trainer. In 2018, they took on the role of Director of the Risk Assessment Division at ALICE Training Institute, where they worked with clients to deliver Professional Risk Assessment services.

Joseph Hendry obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from Kent State University between 1985 and 1989. Joseph then obtained a Board Certification in Physical Security Professional (PSP) from ASIS International in July 2017, and has been an ASIS Member since January 2017. Additionally, they have been a member of the ASIS Community Steering Committee since January 2022. Joseph also attended the Police Executive Leadership College for Police Leadership Development, and the Certified Law Enforcement Executive program for Police Executive Leadership Development, both of which they are still attending. Joseph also attended Niles Mckinley.
