Matthew Kimber has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Matthew began their career at Standard-Examiner as a Lead Web Developer, where they designed and developed web applications and led a team. Matthew then moved on to R.K.B. Industrial, Inc., where they worked as a Software Engineer & Network Administrator, leading efforts to improve efficiency through software and hardware solutions.
After this, Kimber joined Accenture as a Sr. Software Engineer / Tech Lead, where they led a team and worked on rebooting the company's flagship web e-commerce product. Matthew then founded Tarvos Ventures in 2019.
Currently, Kimber is working at Navitaire, an Amadeus company, where they have held multiple roles. Matthew started as a Technical Architect, responsible for designing product architecture and resolving technical obstacles. Later, they became the Director of Digital Experience and Intelligent Platforms, leading teams and working on digital innovation projects such as mixed reality and virtual reality. Matthew is currently the Product Director of Data, responsible for the vision and direction of data-related products.
Matthew Kimber holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Utah State University. While attending Weber State University, Matthew studied Computer Science, specializing in Software Engineering with a minor in Spanish.
