Sam Kem has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Sam started their career in 2001 at Navitaire, an Amadeus Company, where they worked as a Software Engineer. Sam was one of the initial developers of the New Skies Reservation Core system and focused on the Schedule and Booking areas. Sam also played a role in integrating the Open Skies functionality into the New Skies system. In 2007, they joined Spring2 Technologies as a Software Engineer, where they primarily worked on enhancing direct sales software using C#. Their customer base included Uppercase Living, Stampin' Up, and Seamless. In 2016, Sam returned to Navitaire as a Senior Software Engineer. Sam was involved in core development on the New Skies reservation platform and worked on projects like Fare Manager Plus and LCC pricing, as well as the Booking engine and Seat assignment functionality.
Sam Kem attended the University of Utah from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Systems.
