Yaqoob al Shehhi

Yaqoob Al Shehhi serves as the Vice-Chairman of the UAEU College of Business and Economics Alumni Association since October 2023. With extensive experience in the energy sector, Yaqoob has been the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Nawah Energy Company since October 2017. Previous roles include Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director across various functions at Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation from May 2011 to October 2017, and Chief Financial Officer at ADNOC Group from January 2001 to May 2011. Yaqoob also holds board membership at CanCan Digital L.L.C starting March 2019. Educational background includes an Executive MBA in Finance from Hult International Business School, a Master of Blockchain and Crypto from Nuclio Digital School, and various leadership and management certifications from prestigious institutions including MIT and Harvard Kennedy School.
