Nuruli Khaliq has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. They started their career in 2001 as a Quality Consultant at Wahana Kendali Mutu, where they worked until 2006. In 2006, they joined Tata Consultancy Services as a Malcolm Baldrige Criteria Consultant for a year. In 2007, they became a Quality Engineer at NAWAKARA and later worked their way up to the position of System (QHSE) Compliance Manager. They were responsible for obtaining various ISO certifications for the company. In 2014, they joined Pegasus Business Risk Management Solutions as an Executive Assistant to the Director, where they played a key role in developing Security Management Systems for clients in the Oil & Gas sector. In 2018, Nuruli became the Head of Compliance at NAWAKARA and then the Head of Risk & QHSE in 2021. Currently, Nuruli holds the position of Consultation & Training Division Head at NAWAKARA.

Nuruli Khaliq completed their Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Trisakti University from 1993 to 1998. Nuruli then pursued a Master's degree in International Management from the University of Indonesia from 1999 to 2000.

Additionally, Nuruli Khaliq has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include certifications such as Business Continuity Management Certified Professional from Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi Manajemen Risiko (LSPMR) in September 2021, Qualified Chief Risk Officer from LSP MKS in December 2020, and Auditor SMP Obvitnas Perpol 7/2019 from Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia in March 2020. Nuruli also holds certifications like ASIS Chapter Officer and ASIS Member from ASIS International, obtained in January 2020. Furthermore, they have obtained certifications such as Lead Auditor ISO 9001:2015 from the International Register of Certificated Auditors in December 2016, Certified Counter Terrorism Practitioner from the Certified Counter Terrorism Practitioner, and ISPS Code Internal Auditor from BKI (Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia), both obtained in 2016. Nuruli Khaliq also obtained the Gada Utama certification from Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (BNSP) in June 2023 and again from Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia in July 2017. Other certifications earned by him include BNSP Competency Assessor in November 2014, International Crime Prevention Specialist from the International Society of Crime Prevention Practitioner in June 2014, Managing Security Risk in Oil & Gas Sector from PerpetuityARC Training in January 2013, and Associate Auditor from the International Register of Certificated Auditors in January 2012. Lastly, they hold the Security Management System Lead Auditor (Perkap 24/2007) certification from Sucofindo.
