Ali Samji

Ali Samji has significant experience as a DevOps Engineer and has worked for multiple companies. In 2012, they started as a .NET Developer at ZALI Inc, where they maintained in-house inventory software and improved physical security measures. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer, refactoring Chef cookbooks and rewriting applications with best practices. In 2018, they joined Pima Labs as a DevOps Engineer, assisting clients such as City National Bank and [24]7.ai. Ali'sresponsibilities included onboarding new developers, creating Python command-line utilities, and migrating resources to GCP using Terraform. In 2019, they worked on a contract basis with City National Bank, implementing custom Chef resources and Terraform modules. From 2020 to 2021, they worked on contracts with [24]7.ai and Change Healthcare, where they focused on migrating resources to GCP and enabling cloud resource utilization. Since 2021, Ali has been a Senior Solutions Architect at Takumi Cloud, Inc. In 2022, they joined NAX Group as a DevOps Engineer.

Ali Samji earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas from 2009 to 2013. In March 2021, they obtained the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
