Chris Maenner has an extensive work experience in the field of security engineering and consulting. Chris is currently working as a Principal Security Engineer at NAX Group since January 2023, where their responsibilities include developing and maintaining security platforms using artificial intelligence. Prior to this, Chris served as the Chief Security Engineer of Platform Engineering at Nirvana Money from January 2022 to January 2023.

Before Comcast, Chris worked as a Senior Security Consultant at Protiviti from August 2012 to April 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked at Lockheed Martin MS2 as an Information Assurance Engineer from January 2006 to August 2012, and as an Anti-Tamper Engineer from March 2006 to January 2008.

Chris's career began at Commerce Bank, where they served as a Marketing Information System Manager from January 2002 to March 2006 before being acquired by TD Bank.

Overall, Chris Maenner has built a strong foundation in security engineering and has gained extensive experience in roles of increasing responsibility throughout their career.

Chris Maenner completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science & Information Systems from Stockton University from 1998 to 2002. In 2013, they attended the SANS Institute for a course in SEC542: Web App Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking. In the same year, they also studied Invisible Network, Invisible Risk (Wireless Networks) at Black Hat. Additionally, Chris obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)2 in February 2012.
