Mubashir Fahim

Mubashir Fahim has extensive work experience in dispute resolution, card operations, and control function units. Mubashir is currently serving as the Head of the Dispute Resolution Team at NayaPay, where they manage day-to-day operations involving chargebacks, compliance/arbitration case filing, and general ledger entries. Prior to that, they worked at HBL - Habib Bank Limited as a Manager in the Dispute Resolution Unit, where they handled credit card and debit card disputes, managed the acquiring portfolio of disputes, and coordinated with merchants for deductions. Mubashir also served as an Assistant Manager in the Dispute Resolution Unit - Card Operations, where they processed Visa and MasterCard credit card disputes, managed merchant acquiring portfolios, and handled fraudulent transactions. Mubashir Fahim previously worked at United Bank Limited as an Assistant Manager in the Control Function Unit, where they were responsible for implementing circulars issued by SBP, verifying unclaimed cases, and resolving contentious cases with branches and legal departments. Additionally, Mubashir Fahim worked as an Assistant Accountant at Cemcon Foods Industries, where they maintained accounts on an accounting software, reconciled bank statements, and managed expenses and invoicing.

Mubashir Fahim has an extensive education history with degrees and diplomas in various fields. Mubashir started their educational journey in 1999 at the Petroman Training Institute, where they pursued a Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons.) until 2002. During the same period, from 1999 to 2001, they also attended Karachi University and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce, specializing in Accounts, Statistics, and Business.

In 2001, Mubashir Fahim enrolled in the Tec Institute Karachi to earn a diploma in Networking, completing the program in 2002. Subsequently, they pursued higher education at the Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, where they obtained a Masters in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, spanning from 2004 to 2006.
