Poonam Singh Thakar

Poonam Singh Thakar has extensive work experience, starting in 2005 as an Associate at PwC India. Poonam Singh then worked as an Assistant Manager at Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group) from 2007 to 2010. Following that, they joined KPMG India as a Director, a role they held for over 12 years until 2022. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Compliance & Security Officer (Acting) and Head of Investigations at Nayara Energy.

Poonam Singh Thakar holds a degree in Chartered Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. In addition, they have a Master's degree in Commerce with a focus on Financial Management from DAV (PG) College. Poonam also completed The Emerging Leaders Programme from the Indian School of Business. Furthermore, they have pursued a course in Information Systems Audit (ISA) from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
