Ayesha Liyanage

Ayesha Liyanage has a diverse range of work experience in the field of accounting. In 2015, they started their career as an Assistant Accountant at AMARASINGHE TYRE TRADERS. In this role, they assisted with processing invoices, managed international transactions, and provided ad-hoc administrative support. Ayesha also maintained strong customer service relationships and handled communication on a daily basis. Ayesha then transitioned to Platinum Accounting Australia in 2020 as a Junior Assistant Accountant. Here, they were responsible for overseeing and processing functions of accounts receivable and accounts payable, handling reconciliations, and assisting with payroll processing. Ayesha also updated spreadsheets, posted general journals, and ensured balance accuracy in XERO. Currently, Ayesha is working as a Graduate Accountant at Nayax, starting in 2020.

Ayesha Liyanage obtained a Diploma of Business in Business Administration and Management from La Trobe University from 2016 to 2017. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Accounting with a focus on Accounting and Finance at La Trobe University from 2017 to 2020. In August 2020, they obtained the Xero Adviser Certified certification from Xero.
