Daniyar Zhumagulov

Commercialization Office Director at Nazarbayev University

Daniyar Zhumagulov has extensive work experience in various roles. Daniyar started their career in 2003 as an Economist at KAZPHOSPHATE LLC, where they were responsible for budget preparation and cost calculation. In 2008, they joined the National Analytical Center as a Project Manager. In 2012, they became the Commercialization Office Director at NURIS Private Institution, Nazarbayev University, where they managed to create the Technology Transfer Office and provided intellectual property services to the entire university. Since 2020, they have been serving as the Commercialization Office Director at Nazarbayev University.

Daniyar Zhumagulov has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Policy Research and Analysis from the University of Pittsburgh, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Management from Narxoz University from 2002 to 2004. Daniyar also holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, State and Municipal Management from Narxoz University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including ASTP Certificate, Certificate of Completion Internship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Certificate on completion of the program "Converting Technology to Wealth" from The University of Texas at Austin IC2 Institute.
